What this site and this business do with your information.

I sell people a system built around not leaking their customers' data. It would be strange to run a website that did the opposite, so here is the whole of it, in plain language and without a consent banner.

This website

The short version

No cookies. Not analytics cookies, not "essential" ones, not any. That's why there's no banner asking you to accept them — there is nothing to accept.

No trackers and no analytics. No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording, no heatmaps. I don't know who visits this site or what they looked at.

No third-party requests. Every font, image and script on these pages is served from this domain. Loading this page does not tell any other company that you were here.

That last one is deliberate and slightly unusual. Most websites — including this one until recently — load their fonts from Google's servers, which quietly hands Google the IP address of every visitor. Nothing on this site does that anymore. The fonts are files sitting on this domain.

The one thing I can't make disappear

This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare's systems handle the request that delivers a page to you, and their infrastructure logs technical details — IP address, browser type, which file was requested — for delivery and abuse prevention. That is how the internet works, not a choice I've made about your data, and I don't have a dashboard where I can look at any of it. I would rather say this out loud than let you find out from someone else.

There is no contact form on this site, deliberately. A form is a database somewhere. Email and phone are enough.

When you contact me

If you email

Your message lands in my mailbox and stays there while we're talking and for a reasonable time after, because that's how I remember what we agreed. I use it to reply to you and for nothing else. I don't add you to a list, I don't have a newsletter, and I don't sell, rent or share contact details with anyone.

My inbox is triaged by the same system I sell — it sorts what came in and drafts a reply for me to read, edit and send. That processing happens on a machine in my office. Your message is not sent to an AI company to do it, mine or anyone else's.

If you call or text

The number on this site is answered by that same system, and there are two things worth knowing about it.

A phone call still travels across a phone carrier to reach me, exactly like every other call you make. I can't change that and I'm not going to claim otherwise. What I can tell you is that nothing about your call is sent onward to any AI service.

What I never do

If you're a client

Once I'm building something for you, a different and stricter set of rules applies, and they get written into the agreement rather than living on a web page. In summary:

Your rights, and how to use them

Iowa's Consumer Data Protection Act gives Iowans rights over their personal data, and similar laws exist in other states. MEAT AI is a one-person business well under the thresholds where those laws impose formal obligations — but the rights they describe are reasonable ones, so you can exercise them here regardless of whether a statute makes me.

Email letsmeat@meataillc.com and ask me what I have about you, ask for a copy of it, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. I'll do it and confirm when it's done. There's no form and no verification runaround.

Children

This is a business-to-business service. It isn't directed at children and I don't knowingly collect anything about anyone under 13.

Changes to this page

If the way any of this works changes, this page changes with it and the date at the top moves. Since there are no cookies, no analytics and no third-party requests to begin with, the realistic changes are ones that add something — and if I ever add analytics, it will be a privacy-respecting kind that doesn't set cookies, and it will be written here before it's switched on.

If something here is unclear or you think I've got something wrong, tell me. I'd rather fix the page than have it be quietly inaccurate.
